In Kind Donations

A very special thank you to the working group for their capacity, passion, and dedication in bringing the Safe Music Initiative to life during 2025. We are now on our way to building the Canada Safe Music Program with a Universal Code of Conduct, trauma informed Third Party, education and awareness training, and infrastructure under Safe Music Inc., an independent not for profit Federal Corporation.

Until that time when we are ready to launch the Canada Safe Music Program in its' entirety, Safe Music Inc is preparing e learning videos and webinars to educate and to increase awareness about these prevalent issues in the Canada classical music on stage, back stage, and in the teaching studio.

We simply cannot do this ourselves. There has been significant support from many union locals, businesses, and organizations that have been willing to spend some time with us to brainstorm, consult, inspire, and support us with some of the heavy lifting.

In gratitude,
Co-Founders Jemma Jones and Gwen Klassen
Thanks to Paul Meland for editing and Marie-Elyse Badeau for translations (so far) and to Canada Sport Integrity,
Can't Buy My Silence, Notable Values, and Coalition of Musicians for Ethical Change (US).
The Canada Safe Music Program is not operational yet

In the meantime we have provided access to support and research services on this website and
webinars and e-learning opportunities are on the way for 2026

We are very fortunate to have the mentorship of Sport Integrity Canada and Canada Safe Sport Program as we establish a similar program for Music and eventually all Arts in Canada
